Toolsorter Shipping Policies:

All orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt.

The following information is for items that WE stock and ship.
Orders sent directly from drop-ship suppliers or affiliates (such as Amazon) will have their own shipping policies and pricing.

International Orders:

Tool boards and accessories are not available at this time to international customers. We have not found a cost effective way to ship these heavy items overseas.

Why? The tool boards can cost as much as $333 to ship to places overseas (Oxford, England used as an example), and are cost prohibitive.

To try to make things fair for all, in the near future, we hope to be able to adjust our payment process to calculate by weight, rather than amount.

Update! As of September 5th, 2010, we now have our shipments calculated by weight. We will be monitoring the results and may be making adjustments as necessary.

Any email communications will come from either the Azgrand or the Toolsorter shipping department. In that email will be any information about your order, such as if there is a question we need to ask before the order can be shipped. It is very important that customers check their emails within 24 hours of placing orders, so that we can communicate with them! If they don't, then their orders may be delayed until we can get an answer!

We will always try to choose the least expensive way to ship your order, and yet still provide tracking information if at all possible. Some methods will not allow tracking numbers. We will also furnish the customer with the URL's of the carriers we use, so they can go online and verify the information. We are always willing to change carriers or do whatever is necessary to satisfy the customer. If you need your order delivered sooner than our normal methods allow for, call or contact us, and we can make special shipping arrangements, as long as you are willing to pay any additional charges involved.

We will contact you by email again, after the order goes out, giving you the carrier name, tracking number (if applicable), the estimated time of arrival, and even the size and weight of the package.

Methods of shipping:

Lighter items, such as the socket racks and wrench racks are usually shipped in padded envelopes or boxes, at our discretion. Occasionally, we will ship small items by First Class Mail. We generally use Priority Mail for most other shipments, for the reasons stated above, and even that is usually less expensive than other carriers, even with extra services added, such as Delivery Confirmation. We will almost always choose the least expensive way, and yet most practical way, but for all new orders placed after June 18th, 2007, we are now providing tracking information, and delivery confirmation for all shipments (except certain overseas shipments, which may have a Certificate of Mailing instead), and insurance for certain other packages.

Larger items too large for the post office, will be shipped UPS ground, or crated and shipped by truck (common carrier), unless other special arrangements are made by telephone.  Within our local area, we may even deliver the product.

Drop-shipped items will be shipped at that suppliers discretion, and the costs of that are figured into our shipping charges and payment process.

Digital Products:

Digitally delivered products (downloaded to the customer's computer, no matter where they are) will have special payment buttons so that no shipping or handling charges will be added, no matter what the cost of the product.

Timing:

As soon as we receive the order, you will receive an acknowledgement by email from the Azgrand or Toolsorter shipping department, along with any comments or questions we may have. We DO NOT use an autoresponder to send meaningless form letters, and we probably never will. It may take a little longer, but when you hear from us, it will actually be a person on our end

For stocked items, we will begin packing your order immediately if we have all of it in stock. If we should be out of a particular item, we will let you know, and give you the choice of waiting for a back order to be filled (except for Ernst products, which are no longer being restocked), or receive a refund. We try not to do split shipments, as that doubles our shipping cost, but if you need a particular part of your order immediately, we will ship partial orders upon request. After all, it isn't the customer's fault that we are out of a product, so we eat the extra shipping expense. 

On drop-shipped orders, we make every attempt to monitor our suppliers database, to make sure that they have sufficient inventory in stock. As soon as we receive your order, we will immediately relay that order to the supplier within hours. We deal only with drop-shippers who have demonstrated a history of being able to ship within 24 hours. We receive verification from them as soon as the product is shipped, and we will relay that information to you via email.

Whether they ship it or we do, we will usually contact you by email, giving you the carrier name, tracking number (if applicable), the estimated time of arrival, and even the size and weight of the package. This is dependent upon us receiving that information from our drop-shipper. Most orders can be shipped anywhere in the United States within ten days (usually much less).

For digital items from places other than our own servers, the sales process will be handled automatically by the processing company, and the "thank you" page will direct you to the link to download your product. Some digital products will be on our own sites, while others may be handled by a third party, such as ClickBank, who uses their own payment processor. Either way, you should be able to download your product immediately after paying for it. If they use an autoresponder with a double-opt-in, you may have to wait for an email from the supplier, and then click on another link to get your product.

Note: We are NOT presently using opt-in forms to collect names and email addresses on our own sites. However, other sites (affiliates) that we may refer you to, may have their own opt-in forms, which you must fill out, in order to receive your product from them. 

Returns:

In the unlikely event you should need to return any order or part of your physical product order, you will be expected to pay return shipping charges. All orders must be intact as originally shipped, and in good re-sellable condition. Once we (or our drop-shipper) receives the order, and we are notified, you will be credited immediately for the item(s), in the same method that was used to pay for them. If it is being exchanged because of a change in the order, we will immediately ship out the replacement parts and credit the difference (if any). 

Warranties:

If it is a warranty problem, some parts are warranted for life by their manufacturers. On others, we will warranty the product ourselves, based upon the suppliers recommendations, usually up to one year (unless stated otherwise). Just send us the broken item, and we will be glad to send you a replacement free of charge.

For digital items, we and our suppliers will have safeguards in place to prevent abuse, and normally the access to the product will be shut off if it can be, and then we will make a refund to you in the same manner in which you paid for the item.

Damage Claims:

We personally inspect every item that leaves our warehouse, and provide a shipping container which will protect it as much as is practical, and then we sometimes insure it, as well. If you find damage after receiving the item(s), please file a claim with the carrier, and then notify us. We will make every effort to replace the product as quickly as possible, within the confines of the claim process.
