At the beginning of 2008 we made the
decision to eliminate our inventory of Ernst tool organizers, and have been
quietly selling down that inventory. That is the reason you may see "Out of Stock" on some items.
We will not be replacing this inventory with Ernst products, so grab what's left
before we run out!
We now have up-to-the-minute product counts
on the Ernst listings, which we update ourselves within minutes of a sale, so
you will know exactly how many we have on hand. In the extremely rare instance
of two people ordering the same thing at the same time, we will notify you by email, and do an immediate refund through
PayPal for the items we don't have in stock.
Why are we eliminating Ernst
products, when they have been the company that has allowed us to gain such
phenomenal growth in the last three years?
Due to this phenomenal growth we have had to
make some decisions regarding the direction we want our company to go, and
unfortunately, some suppliers do not fit in with that direction. They have to
grow in their own way, and we have to grow in ours, regardless of how good their
product is.
Also, we pride ourselves on our customer service. We have eliminated some
companies because their level of customer service does not meet our high levels
of expectation. Only companies that can demonstrate high quality in their
products, packaging and shipping will remain with us as suppliers, to provide
our customers with the service and products that they expect.
1. We still offer the best products for your money, and will not
sell inferior products.
2. We offer $8 flat rate shipping* up to $49.99 and FREE
SHIPPING for purchases over $50 (continental U.S. only). (For international
shipping, please our Store Policies page.) We process and ship all complete orders within 24 hours.
(Update note: this policy on pricing may have to change soon, with more of our
products being larger and heavier, it is getting impossible to calculate
accurate shipping on everything. Also, to save money on warehousing, many of our
newer products will be drop-shipped directly from the supplier, and we have to
honor whatever shipping costs they impose.)
* Important Note: The new shipping rate has been raised
from $5 to $8 as of November 22, 2008, Even the smallest, lightest packages have been
costing us over $5 to ship by the time we add Delivery Confirmation and tracking
numbers, not including transportation costs, which have risen drastically.
Due to the varying weights
and sizes of the products we sell, and utilizing more drop-shipping, it is becoming more difficult to find a good
median shipping rate for all products. The possibility exists that we may have
to start charging shipping on all products, but we will try to avoid that,
if at all possible.
3. If you hurry, you can still purchase most of the items that Ernst offers, right here in one place,
with only a minimal (if any) shipping fee.
4. We will always have the best customer service you will find anywhere. First, we email you to
thank you for your order, confirm that we have everything in stock, and let you
know when it will ship (almost always within 24 hours). Then, after it has
shipped, we email you again, to let you know what service we used, give you a
tracking number, and in some cases, even the size and weight of the package. We won't bother
you after that unless you sign up for our mailing list, and even then, it will
only be about once a month, to let you know about special sales, or new
products. If you have any questions about anything, you can always call us toll
free any time between 8 AM and 10 PM (CST) or send us an email from our "contact
us" page.
